Giving Thanks for God's Blessings

Dear Family and Friends of SOULWELL,

Happy Thanksgiving - we have so much to be grateful for this year. It’s been another wonderful year of ministry - as always God has been more than faithful and never disappoints.

We’ve had a front row seat of watching God heal and transform lives and we don’t take one minute of this blessing for granted.

This year we completed two Women’s journeys and we also wrapped up one of our 2021 Men’s journeys in January and one full 2022 Men’s journey.

One memory that will forever standout was with James Padgett. James came to the journey at 78, a retired vet with PTSD he had been suffering for many years. On his first journey weekend he truly did have an AWAKENING experience. Saturday night of his weekend he skipped (literally) up to me with a huge smile and tears rolling down his rosey cheeks overjoyed sharing I gave all to Jesus He took it and set me free… 50 years of anguish and regret was nailed to the cross and I saw Jesus throw it into the abyss! Praise the LORD!!! we also experienced heart break with James as he went home to be with Jesus before his journey on earth was done. This brought much sadness to our Men’s journey yet we celebrated that we knew James was truly free in the arms of Jesus and at peace forever. Charlotte, James’ wife shared this with me after his weekend, James came home a free man he was happy, and was able to study the word and joyfully serve God for the first time in many years. Thank you, Jesus!

James’ story will always serve as a reminder of why we do what we do in SOULWELL Ministries and that we never know the day or the hour. As you get ready to celebrate all you have to be thankful for this year, I pray you know how grateful I am to get to walk alongside you watching Jesus transform lives through the SOULWELL Journey.

In His Grace upon Grace ~

Kelly
